Danya-Cecile is an artist who loves to draw and loves the idea of creating things for people to appreciate. This is one of the reasons why she is excited about pursuing a degree in architecture and why one of her hobbies is creating leather designs in art and accessories. The artistic side of Danya of her personality does not prevent her from being actively involved in sports. She’s a capable tennis and badminton player, and she once represented Jamaica as a member of the National Badminton Junior Squad.
Danya-Cecile and Miss Jamaica World: Danya’s decision to enter Miss Jamaica World was a last-minute one which she does not regret. She is open-minded about the experience and is committed to doing her best. She appreciates the opportunity the title would give her to combat the negative impressions of Jamaica and show the unity and beauty of our country.
