Will Most Enjoy About The Pageant: The thing I will enjoy most about the competition is networking and the ability to explore our beautiful island along with the extensive interaction with the other contestants and production team.
Most Want to Meet: I would like to meet Lisa Hannah due to her successful path of life. She won the Miss World pageant at the tender age of 18, pursued her studies and is now involved in politics which is one of my heart’s desires.
Most Unusual Thing Done: The most unusual thing I have ever done was being photographed with a snake wrapped around my neck and waist.
Proudest Life Moment: My proudest life’s moment was graduating from college last November with my Bachelors in Marketing and Human Resource Management. It took much hard work and sometimes even tears to get to that point, but it was worth it in the end.
All Countries travelled to: I have travelled to Curacao and I will be going to Canada in a few weeks.
Personal Statement: I was born and raised in the capital Kingston, Jamaica. Upon my completion of my high school diploma at the Convent of Mercy Academy Alpha High for Girls I attended the pre-university of the West Indies. I moved on to further my studies at the University of Technology, Jamaica where I studied marketing and Human Resource Management. Being employed to Digicel, Jamaica since 2005 as a Customer Service Representative I was promoted to the post of Quality Assurance Analyst upon completion of my degree.
I have worked with Word Time Ministries of Jamaica, which is a non-profit organization that works with children’s homes island wide. My ambition is to further my education and take a PhD in Planning and Development. I have had a variety of part time jobs to help supplement my education and where ever possible enjoys working with non-profit organizations. My personal mottos are “Success is 99% Inspiration and 1% Perspiration” and “its best to be the first rate version of yourself than the second rate version of someone else.”
