Miss Jamaica ’s courtesy call to the South African High Commission
Kerrie Baylis, Miss Jamaica World, visited Adv. Faith Doreen Radebe, the South African High Commissioner to Jamaica prior to her departure from the island to compete at the 2009 Miss World Contest. Dr. Terri-Karelle Reid, General Manager of the Spartan Health Club, franchise holders for Miss World in Jamaica , accompanied Miss Baylis on her visit. Both ladies were entertained by the High Commissioner and Karabo Letlaka, the First Secretary Political. During the meeting, the High Commissioner presented Ms. Jamaica World and Dr. Reid with a compilation of Nelson Mandela’s life and work as well as a South Africa tour DVD package. She wished Ms. Baylis, all the best at the Miss World which will be held on Saturday December 12 in Johannesburg , South Africa .
