Miss Jamaica World 2009, Kerrie Baylis, was hosted by her Alma Mater Hopefield Primary on October 16, 2009 for a National Heroes’ Day Concert. Miss Jamaica World was chaperoned by Dr. Terri-Karelle Reid, General Manager at the Spartan Health Club. Upon arrival she was greeted by her former teacher Ms. Debra Harris. Miss Baylis was entertained by an enthusiastic group of students who sang popular national songs and donned different national costumes. She took the time to sign autographs for the whole student body.
